On November 16, 2022, Russian Navy commissioned the newest Project 636.3 (Improved Kilo-class) submarine “Ufa” (P-588) with a ceremony held in Admiralty Shipyards facilities in St. Petersburg.
A series of six Project 636.3 diesel-electric submarines will join the Pacific Fleet by 2024.

Russian shipbuilder Admiralty Shipyards (a subsidiary of the United Shipbuilding Corporation) has launched the third Project 636.3 (NATO reporting name: Improved Kilo-class) diesel-electric submarine for the Pacific Fleet on March 26.
Admiralty Shipyard handed over the Volkhov diesel-electric submarine of project 636.3 to the Russian Navy, the enterprise said.
