The future USNS Miguel Keith (ESB 5) expeditionary mobile base got underway from General Dynamics National Steel and Shipbuilding Company (NASSCO) for the first time since the graving dock flooding incident on July 11, 2018, the US Naval Sea Systems Command (NAVSEA) stated on its Facebook page.

The General Director of the GDDIA (the Hellenic defense procurement agency) Vice Admiral (ret.) Kyriakos Kyriakidis, visited Naval Group's headquarters on the sidelines of the Paris Air Show. The U.S. Navy christened the Arleigh Burke-class guided missile destroyer, the USS Daniel Inouye (DDG 118), on June 22 at the General Dynamics Bath Iron Works shipyard in Bath, Maine. DDG 118 is the third (of nine) Arleigh Burke-class, "Flight IIA: Technology Insertion" variant. "Technology Insertion" ships are fitted with elements from the future DDG 51 Flight III.
