FORCIT Defence provides a multi-domain naval mine laying capabilities including influence mine product family, mine deployment platforms and minelaying planning and execution system.
Now FORCIT takes a step further by offering a new anti-invasion mine FLOUNDER which utilizes same Target Detection System as BLOCKER bottom mine.
FLOUNDER features the newest generation of Target Detection System with multi-sensor technology, including multiple sensors; acoustic, magnetic, pressure, inertial and with options for UEP and photonic, all of which can be utilized in freely programmable detection algorithms and also to achieve high immunity against countermeasures. Navies can benefit from same algorithm development environment and support systems for BLOCKER and FLOUNDER sea mines. Through this approach the user can easily operate mixed minefields.
FLOUNDER can be deployed from various kinds of surface vessels and platforms. FLOUNDER is readily available for procurement.
FORCIT also offers the modular mine-laying system SUMICO for BLOCKER and FLOUNDER sea mines, which offers minelaying capability to any TEU-ready ship and customer.
