Today, ASELSAN has reached a maturity level where it can deliver nearly all essential systems required on a modern naval platform. On a single MฤฐLGEM-class vessel, the company provides close to 50 integrated systems spanning air defence, radar, electronic warfare, underwater systems, weapons, communications, electro-optics and more. This depth of vertical integration, developed entirely through national R&D and production, showcases Tรผrkiyeโ€™s ability to field indigenous naval combat systems and export them to partner nations seeking reliable, high-performance solutions.

Building on this achievement, ASELSAN also leads one of the most significant naval modernization efforts in the world. The BARBAROS-Class Frigate Mid-Life Upgrade which is regarded as the most comprehensive programme ever performed on a MEKO-class vessel, stands as a key milestone. ASELSAN integrated twenty-one advanced systems on TCG ORUร‡REฤฐS, including radars, weapons, electro-optics, communications, electronic warfare, fire-control, and sonar, delivering a full end-to-end upgrade that meets the platformโ€™s power, cooling, and broader infrastructure demands. TCG ORUร‡REฤฐS, the first modernized ship of four, is now in service of Turkish Navy with a new modern silhouette designed by ASELSAN.

ASELSANโ€™s naval portfolio continues to expand with advanced systems designed to meet the evolving needs of modern fleets. Key solutions include the Gร–KDENฤฐZ Close-In Weapon System and the air defense fire control systems, both providing last-layer defence against aerial threats and swarm attacks. High-performance sensors such as the CENK 400-N 4D Surveillance Radar enhance maritime situational awareness and support diverse mission requirements. With more than three decades of radar expertise shaped by sustained R&D and operational deployment, ASELSAN has become a globally trusted provider of detection, tracking and fire-control technologies.

Complementing these capabilities are multi-function radars such as CENK and AKREP; electro-optical systems including AHTAPOT 100; advanced sonar and underwater solutions such as FERZAN and HIZIR family; and the SMASH family of stabilized Remote-Controlled Weapon Stations. Together, these products form a cohesive, integrated suite that ensures reliable performance across vessel classes and mission profiles. By showcasing highlights from these advanced solutions at DIMDEX, ASELSAN reinforces its position as a single-source provider capable of meeting the complete operational needs of naval forces. The companyโ€™s expanding role across surface, subsurface and modernization programmes reflects its commitment to shaping the future of maritime security in Qatar and throughout the wider region.
