Exavision unveils SEAMOS-LR-10K naval optronic solution

EURONAVAL, the meeting place for all countries concerned by the protection of maritime areas and safety at sea and from the sea, will be held at PARIS NORD VILLEPINTE Exhibition Center from Monday 4 to Thursday 7 November 2024. This major event has been chosen by Exavision to present SEAMOS-LR-10K, a new multi-sensor EO/IR solution for long range observation and surveillance on vessels and maritime vectors. Equipped with a new version of HD cooled thermal camera, this variant enhances the ability to anticipate potential threats by detecting them from a greater distance and thus, earlier. This equipment is completing SEAMOS family, range of EO/IR optronics solutions for naval applications.

SEAMOS range, composed of SEAMOS MR-5K (showcased on EURONAVAL 2022) and new SEAMOS-LR-10K, is developed by Exavision, a French company specialized in middle/long range naval optronic solutions.

SEAMOS family is delivered with SEASENS software suite, including DeepSight AI, allowing:

• system monitoring & control, recording of video and detected events, through webserver user interface,
• simplified integration with CMS and third-party equipment, based on WebSocket interface.

DeepSight AI is a versatile software module designed for real-time image enhancement and automatic tracking of specific targets. This innovative solution significantly enhances product offerings by detecting and tracking potential threats, making it an essential tool in various applications.

SEAMOS range offers a naval optronic unit integrated on a 2-axis gyrostabilized turret, including:

• An HD visible camera, with continuous optical zoom,
• An eye-safe laser rangefinder,
• A thermal imaging camera, with continuous optical zoom:
  • A VGA uncooled thermal camera (LWIR, band III) for SEAMOS-MR-5K, allowing small target – 2.3m x 2.3m
    recognition at 5 km
  • A HD cooled thermal camera (MWIR, band II) for SEAMOS-LR-10K, allowing small target – 2.3m x 2.3m
    recognition at 10 km

SEAMOS family is based on the following strengths:

• Dual axis gyrostabilized line of sight, and additional digital image stabilization,
• Automatic detection and real-time video tracking of aerial and surface targets, including UAV & USV,
• Maritime, civil and military applications,
• Made in France: a solution designed and manufactured in France, no export restrictions linked to a
  third country.
