Expleo press release

Australia is a market with strong potential for the Group: the country occupies a leading technological and a geostrategic position in the Oceania – South East Asia region and will strongly invest over the coming decades in securing its military sovereignty. It draws on the largest players in the aeronautics, naval and defence sectors, including some of Expleo’s major clients.

As a technological partner for innovative companies, Expleo supports major industrial players in this period of profound change: the adoption of new operational models which bring together reliability, agility and competitiveness; innovation gaining momentum; exploring the potential of digital technologies; and cross-fertilising best practices between sectors. The Group operates all the way along the value chain – design, production, supply chain optimization and post- development services.

Olivier Aldrin, Expleo CEO, said: “With the creation of Expleo Australia, we are fulfilling a twofold ambition: to be as close as possible to our clients so as to better meet their needs and to position ourselves in a promising market that offers growth opportunities for the Group.”

Expleo Australia, as a member of GICAN (Groupement des Industries de Construction et Activités Navales), is present in the French Pavilion at the PACIFIC exhibition, which takes place from 8 to 10 October 2019 in Sydney. This major event in the Indo-Asia-Pacific region promotes the development of Australia’s maritime and naval defence industry and the manufacture of information and communications technology resources.
