MAST Med press release
With international pre-registrations higher than for the same period, pre-Covid, event, sponsors and exhibitors are guaranteed face-time with new customers/end-users, as well as customer support opportunities, i.e. activities to support the French frigate MoU with MBDA’s GDDIA customer and Hellenic Navy end-user.
Dutch to present broadest spectrum of solutions in Greece
NIDV (Netherlands Industries for Defence & Security) has confirmed a significant presence of Dutch defence organisations taking a pavilion in Athens at MAST Med 2022.
Within the pavilion you can expect to meet both prime contractors and MSMEs, showcasing technologies ranging from platform (e.g. frigates) to component level.
Ship visits/waterborne demonstrations set to return to MAST for 2022?
MAST‘s organisers are working with relevant Greek authorities, and international governments/navies, to host ship visits in Athens (including VIP social functions) alongside water-based demonstration of sponsors’ and exhibitors’ technologies.
The central Athens location will facilitate fast access, by sponsored shuttle bus, from/to the MAST Med venue and the harbour (as well Greek government/military facilities, international embassies, and proposed social functions at venues like The Officers Club).
VIPs and (senior level) delegates registered before Spring 2022 will immediately be considered for places on board the top level social functions. All delegates are expected to be able to visit the ships during the event. Everyone will be able to attend water-borne demonstrations scheduled into the programme.
