RTsys press release
These 3 autonomous vehicles will be added to the existing range in use of SONADIVE hand held sonar units and therefore will give to the Slovenian Armed Forces through its EOD Diving Department full capabilities for Mine Counter Measures from very shallow water up to 300m depth.
The COMET-MCM is designed to quickly and efficiently cover large underwater areas with both high-definition sonar imaging and TV camera capabilities, by offering the most accurate real-time tracking and positioning of the market. Alternatively, micro-AUVs NEMOSENS, man-portable and modular vehicle offering the same capabilities of live tracking and high accuracy positioning would operate in very shallow water (less than 5m) for various scope of operations like beaching, rapid environmental assessment or identification and localization of underwater mines.
“Delivering a new complete MCM ecosystem to a NATO Country is always a privilege for RTsys and confirms the attractiveness of our company in the supply of sea-proven manned and unmanned solutions. Autonomous vehicles combined with EOD divers’ skills remain the most reliable and efficient combination to operate safe MCM operations while reducing the time of divers’ action into the water. It also makes sense for Navies worldwide to cooperate closely with one unique manufacturer, from their original clarification of needs up to final delivery, operational training, spare part management and long-term support for maintenance.”

Diver-held system SONADIVE
The diver-held Sonar and navigation system SONADIVE is a solution for EOD divers seeking safe and covered MCM operations. SONADIVE features a 12″ backlit screen for maximum visibility and the lowest magnetism on the market with hot-swappable lithium-ion batteries.
Detection capacities feature BlueView sonar paired with an HD camera while navigation is provided by GPS, INS, and DVL. In addition, underwater acoustics allows real-time exchange of text messages, position and navigation data.
The communication range can exceed 2000 m between two devices and be extended to over 5000m using a relay beacon.
Man-portable AUV COMET-300
COMET-300 is a state-of-the-art AUV featuring advanced navigation and detection capabilities. Keep an eye on COMET-300 from the surface thanks to its communication system capable of displaying real-time position and navigation data.
Several AUVs (up to 10) can operate as a swarm using Sparse-LBL localization while combing wide areas geared with side-scan sonars and diverse payloads.
Customizable μAUV NEMOSENS
NemoSens® is a small, lightweight µAUV perfect for scientists and offshore companies in search of a modular ally. Easy to deploy at any time, payloads are simple to add while users can take full ownership of NemoSens® thanks to its open Linux architecture. NemoSens® offers long-lasting endurance (over 8 hours at 4 knots) and is easy to recover.
