Rome, 13 October 2022 – Elettronica signed yesterday morning, at the Italian Embassy in Athens, in the presence of Ambassador Falcinelli and the industrial leaders of various Italian and Greek companies operating in the Defense sector, a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with Hellenic Aerospace Industry, a leading company in the Defense sector in Greece.

The MoU falls within the scope of the tender in progress for the supply of 4 “corvette” class naval units to the Greek Navy, the leading company being Fincantieri. A strategic program heralds a resumption of the important international defense programs in Greece and which hopefully will fuel strategic cooperation between the two countries.

Specifically, Elettronica’s proposal includes the latest generation EW (Zeus) integrated self-protection system. The signing of the aforementioned MoU, in addition to developing industrial cooperation between Italy and Greece, could give a boost to the final decision of the Greek Ministry of Defense to acquire a completely Italian technologically advanced solution.
