Kongsberg Maritime has signed a contract with the Polish shipyard Remontowa for the delivery of three HUGIN autonomous underwater vehicles and tracking and communications systems, designated HiPAP, for the Polish Navy’s next-generation minehunters.
The United States Missile Defense Agency (MDA) is tasked with creating a solution to intercept enemy Hypersonic Glide Bodies (HGB) that threaten allied naval and maritime vessels and interests.
