DERİNGÖZ Autonomous Underwater Vehicle can be used in many critical missions such as underwater research, reconnaissance and surveillance, mine detection, pipeline inspection, and port and base protection, thanks to its high manoeuvrability, precise navigation ability, and optical and sonar imaging technologies.
“The first diving tests of DERİNGÖZ, which can be used for both military and civilian purposes, have been successfully completed.”

Aselsan showcased Deringöz AUV at IDEF 2023 in July 2023 for the first time, and the officials at booth told Naval News that they were planning to make initial sea trials in the following months. 8 months after the exhibition, Aselsan completed the initial diving tests.
Turkey’s first autonomous underwater vehicle, DERİNGÖZ will be able to be used effectively in many areas such as underwater research, reconnaissance and surveillance, mine detection, pipeline inspection, and port and base protection.
Developed by ASELSAN engineers, DERİNGÖZ is planned to be a vehicle that not only meets the needs for underwater operations, but also creates them. With these features, DERİNGÖZ is expected to play a critical role in underwater operations.
Capable of operating at a depth of 600 meters, DERİNGÖZ stands out with its modular system architecture. DERİNGÖZ, which has wireless communication capability, has payload configurations that can be increased according to need. With a maximum speed of 5.5 knots and a scanning speed of 3 knots, DERİNGÖZ is expected to create a force multiplier for Turkiye.
