HAVELSAN has demonstrated its ability to integrate unmanned air and maritime platforms for coordinated missions.

HAVELSAN press release

The demonstration brought together the USV-12 unmanned surface vessel (USV), manufactured by VN MARITIME, and the SAGAN unmanned aerial vehicle (UAV), developed by ASİSGUARD.

During the demonstration, the USV navigated autonomously. The UAV took off autonomously from the vessel, released a 60 mm mortar round onto a designated target and successfully completed its mission.

Supported by HAVELSAN’s command and control, mission management and autonomy capabilities, the activity demonstrated the coordinated operation of different unmanned platforms, integrated management of the mission area and target engagement under operator control.

It also showed how unmanned surface vessels can operate with aerial assets as part of an integrated operational system.

A Common Command and Control Architecture

HAVELSAN develops its solutions with an interoperability approach aligned with NATO standards. These solutions enable unmanned systems from different manufacturers to be integrated under a common command and control architecture and conduct coordinated missions.

The company continues to develop multi-domain unmanned operational capabilities through command and control, mission management and autonomy solutions that bring different platforms and systems together.
