32 Chinese vessels participated in a naval parade, April 23, to celebrate the 70th anniversary of the People's Liberation Army Navy (PLAN or Chinese Navy). Close to twenty foreign vessels were also invited to take part in the fleet review.
Garden Reach Ship Builders and Engineers Ltd., (GRSE) delivered its 100th warship to the Indian Navy March 30. This makes GRSE the first Indian shipyard to make and deliver 100 warships to the Indian Navy, Indian Coast Guard and Mauritius Coast Guard.
The Hellenic Navy is in the final stage of activating the sub-programme for the procurement of four Sikorsky MH-60R anti-submarine warfare helicopters, according to a written statement to the Parliament made by the Minister of Defense Evangelos Apostolakis.
