A steel cutting ceremony for the final two Type 054 A/P Frigates for Pakistan Navy was held at Hudong Zhonghua shipyard in China on November 1st.

Pakistan Navy Chief OF Staff Admiral Zafar Mahmood Abbasi and the President of the Turkish Republic, Recep Tayyip Erdoğan jointly cut the first steel of the first Milgem class warship for Pakistan. The ceremony was held on 29th September 2019 in Istanbul Naval Shipyard.

The Malaysian shipyard Muhibbah Engineering introduced a multirole variant of its commercial Offshore Support Vessel design at the LIMA 2019 exhibition. As the name implies, the Multi-Purpose Mission Ship (MPMS) is designed to perform a wide range of tasks. Its utmost important role is to act as a mothership for smaller vessels and day/night operations.

The Turkish Navy (Türk Deniz Kuvvetleri) Preveze-class submarine Mid-Life Upgrade (MLU) contract was signed between Turkey's Defence Industry Directorate (SSB) and a joint venture formed by STM-ASELSAN-HAVELSAN-ASFAT on 8 Ferbuary 2019.
