Turkey’s newest intelligence ship, TCG UFUK (Horizon in English), entered service for the Turkish Navy last week.

The French Navy signals intelligence (SIGINT) ship Dupuy de Lôme (A759) conducted a rare transis through the Taiwan Strait. This information was provided by French minister of the armed forces, Florency Parly, during a hearing at the French Senate.

With the aim of maintaining a flawless capability for sea-based signal intelligence, the German Federal Office of Bundeswehr Equipment, Information Technology and In-Service Support (BAAINBw) signed a contract with Lürssen Werft GmbH on June 23, 2021, for the design and construction of three Class 424 AGI (Auxiliary, General Intelligence) ships.
