The United States Coast Guard (USCG) exercised a contract option for the production of four more Sentinel-class fast response cutters (FRCs) and associated deliverables worth just over $222 million with Bollinger Shipyards of Lockport, Louisiana.

The U.S. Navy has awarded contracts totaling $41,985,112 to six companies for Large Unmanned Surface Vessel (LUSV) studies.

Bollinger Shipyards LLC (“Bollinger”) on April 2 delivered the USCGC HAROLD MILLER to the U.S. Coast Guard in Key West, Florida. This is the 161st vessel Bollinger has delivered to the U.S. Coast Guard over a 35 year period and the 38th Fast Response Cutter delivered on the current program. The USCGC HAROLD MILLER is the third of three FRCs to be home-ported in Galveston, Texas.
