The final Project 21631 / Buyan-M vessel on order for the Russian Navy was launched at the Zelenodolsk Shipyard based in Zelenodolsk, Tatarstan.

The Russian Defense Ministry released video footage of a Buyran-M class corvette firing a salvo of eight Kalibr cruise missiles at a Ukrainian arms depot. It was the first demonstration of such a strike to the public.
