The United States formally handed over three CN235-220 maritime surveillance aircraft to the Royal Malaysian Air Force on June 27.
The Royal Malaysian Air Force began modification of existing CN235-220M (M44-05) tactical airlifter into maritime surveillance aircraft (MSA) under the US Maritime Security Initiative (MSI).
The Aerospace company PT Dirgantara Indonesia (PTDI) on January 24 handed over five AS565Mbe Panther ASW helicopters and one CN235-220 Maritime Patrol Aircraft (MPA) to the Indonesian Navy.
