French Minister of the Armed Forces, Florence Parly, last week revealed the names of six new “POM” (Patrouilleur d’Outre-Mer) offshore patrol vessels which will now be known as the Félix Éboué-class.
The French Ministry of Armed Forces on January 17 confirmed an order for six new offshore patrol vessels (Patrouilleur d’Outre-Mer - POM) for the French Navy (Marine Nationale). The contract was awarded on December 24 to a Socarenam / CNN MCO consortium by the French Defense Procurement Agency (DGA).
