The Fincantieri-built Doha-class air defence corvette “Al Zubarah” and offshore patrol vessel “Musherib” were welcomed by the Qatari Emiri Navy on September 12, 2022. Amir Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad al-Thani, the Emir of Qatar, and representatives of Fincantieri attended the ceremony.
The first Doha-class air defense corvette ordered by the Qatari Ministry of Defence within the national naval acquisition program, took place today at Fincantieri’s shipyard in Muggiano (La Spezia).
