Kongsberg Discovery won a Defense Innovation Unit (DIU) award to assist in the U.S. Navy’s Large Displacement Unmanned Underwater Vehicle (LDUUV) prototype.
Kongsberg Maritime has signed a contract with the Polish shipyard Remontowa for the delivery of three HUGIN autonomous underwater vehicles and tracking and communications systems, designated HiPAP, for the Polish Navy’s next-generation minehunters.
Following a recent uptick in orders, Kongsberg Maritime’s Sensor and Robotics division has announced that it has secured over NOK 450M (~$44 million) in contracts for HUGIN AUV in Q2 2022.
