ECA Group awarded UMS SKELDAR a procurement contract to supply the UAV SKELDAR V-200 as part of the naval mine countermeasures capability replacement, a programme led by Belgium Naval & Robotics – a consortium including Naval Group and ECA Group – which will supply twelve mine hunters equipped with drone systems (Toolbox) to the Belgian and Royal Netherlands navies.

French minister of the Armed Forces, Florence Parly, announced that rotary and fixed wing unmanned aerial vehicles (UAV) for the French Navy (Marine Nationale) will be procured ahead of schedule. Naviris, a 50/50 owned joint venture by Fincantieri and Naval Group, has signed its first contract regarding research and technology (R&T) with OCCAR, the European Joint Armaments Cooperation organisation. Naviris, as prime contractor, will coordinate technical activities managed by Fincantieri and Naval Group and will own the intellectual property of all the research findings.
