iXblue was selected by Naval Group to provide navigation systems to the four future tankers for the French Navy. Naviris, a 50/50 owned joint venture by Fincantieri and Naval Group, has signed its first contract regarding research and technology (R&T) with OCCAR, the European Joint Armaments Cooperation organisation. OCCAR (Organisation for Joint Armament Co-operation), a European intergovernmental organisation that manages collaborative armament programmes, announced that Aster 30 Block 1 NT Missile has passed Preliminary Design Review. Several other milestones for the FSAF-PAAMS Programme have been reached in late 2018.
