The commissioning ceremony of the INS Tushil frigate to the Indian Navy took place at the Yantar shipyard in Kaliningrad on the Baltic Sea.
The CEO of Russia’s Yantar shipyard said the first Indian frigate of Project 11356, the future INS Tushil, is scheduled for completion in 2023.

Ukraine’s Zorya-Mashproekt will supply M7H2 gas turbines for two Project 11356 frigates under construction at the Indian state shipbuilding company Goa Shipyard Limited (GSL) with Russian assistance for the Indian Navy.

Two Russian Navy’s Black Sea Fleet frigates trained in counter-unmanned aerial vehicle (C-UAV) operations.

Indiaโs Goa Shipyard Limited (GSL) cut a steel plate for its first locally built Project 11356 frigate on September 21. The official ceremony of steel cutting was being live-streamed on the same day by the Ishwari Digital media platform.

The Black Sea fleet is actively developing into a self-sufficient and balanced force.
