Saab has made the first deliveries of the new lightweight torpedo (Saab Lightweight Torpedo) to Sweden’s defence procurement agency FMV.
Saab has received new orders from FMV (The Swedish Defence Materiel Administration) regarding submarine upgrades. The orders include a lifetime extension of HSwMS Södermanland, as well as new batteries and battery development.
Saab’s test platform for the development of autonomous functions Enforcer III, which was converted from the Combat Boat 90, was tested in a joint trial by Saab and the Swedish Navy in the southern Baltic Sea.
