HMCS Harry DeWolf, the first of six Arctic and Offshore Patrol Ship (AOPS), was delivered on 31 July to the Royal Canadian Navy (RCN).
Sredne-Nevsky Shipyard laid the keel of the “Lev Chernavin” on 24 July. It is the 8th Alexandrite-class mine counter measure (MCM) vessel of project 12700 for the Russian navy, the enterprise said.
The Royal Navy has shown its clear intent for the greater use of autonomous and un-crewed technology in future operations.
