Euronaval Video: Safran’s Vigy Observer and Vigy Engage EO/IR Systems

Adapted to the needs of the merchant navy, coast guards, customs or maritime affairs, Vigy Observer is a stabilized panoramic naval surveillance system. Modular and extremely versatile, it features multiple optronic sensors (cooled or non-cooled infrared imager, color video camera, laser rangefinder) and excellent gyro-stabilization ensuring it is easy to use, day or night. Vigy Observer is small and light, easy to fit and needs no changes to be made to the vessel’s structure. It has a control console, a joystick and a monitor and is ready to use immediately.

Compact and lightweight, Vigy Engage is a full panoramic stabilized long-range sight system easy to install on any type of vessel. Intended to be the primary optronic system aboard combat craft, interceptors or fast patrol boats, Vigy Engage can be used as a complementary surveillance system on larger vessels.
