Hanwha Ocean will showcase the latest generation of surface ships, submarines, and future naval vessels that demonstrate Ocean’s capabilities at booths across the Surface Ship Zone, Submarine Zone, and Manned-Unmanned Teaming (MUM-T) Zone.
Hanwha Ocean will demonstrate its rapid technological response to the future battlefield environment by showcasing its development of unmanned system command and control vessel “Ghost Commander” and combat UUV that are undergoing conceptual design with the Korean Navy.
In addition, Hanwha Ocean will display the KSS-III Batch-II Submarine which is the first diesel-electric submarine ever capable of launching submarine-launched ballistic missiles (SLBM) and is also integrated with Fuel-Cell AIP, highly efficient AC motors, and Lithium-ion batteries that enable long-distance underwater operations for several weeks. This will be the backbone of future export models, expressing Hanwha Ocean’s desire to consolidate its global market shares. In addition, Hanwha Ocean will be displaying its 1400-ton export Submarine which has been exported and is currently being promoted to various navies as well.
