HD HHI is thrilled to announce that the company has become the first South Korean shipyard to sign a Maintenance, Repair, and Overhaul (MRO) agreement with the US Navy’s Naval Supply Systems Command (NAVSUP). This milestone opens doors to the $20 billion annual US naval MRO market.
Under this five-year Maintenance and Ship Repair Agreement (MSRA), HD HHI is now qualified to bid on maintenance projects for both support vessels operated by the US NAVSUP and combat ships of the US Navy. This achievement follows rigorous assessments of HHI’s facilities, quality, security, and financial stability.
This agreement marks a significant expansion of HHI’s global presence, building on HHI’s successful maintenance operations for the Philippine Navy.
