China’s third amphibious assault ship, a Landing Helicopter Dock (LHD) known as Type 075, was launched in Shanghai today for the People’s Liberation Army Navy (PLAN or Chinese Navy).
Originally, an extended-range version of the Type 12 SSM was under development and was scheduled to be developed over a five-year period starting in FY2017.
