Spanish shipbuilder Navantia has contracted Damen Marine Components (DMC) for a series of rudders and steering gear systems. The equipment is for five vessels that Navantia is constructing for Armada Española – the Spanish Navy.

The Spanish Navy (Armada Española) has awarded Navantia the Engine Maintenance Contract (CSMAE) for her ships until 2023, an agreement for a maximum amount of 25 million euros per year and with the option to be extended for two more years.
