Austal USA celebrated the christening of the future USS Augusta (LCS 34) Independence-variant Littoral Combat Ship.

Austal USA was awarded a $156 million U.S. Navy contract option for the construction of two Navajo-class Towing, Salvage, and Rescue Ships (T-ATS).

On July 21, Austal USA delivered the future USS Santa Barbara (LCS 32) to the U.S. Navy. LCS 32 is the 16th Independence-variant Littoral Combat Ship (LCS) delivered by the company.
Austal USA celebrated the start of construction on the company’s first steel ship on July 11, 2022 – a U.S. Navy Navajo Class Towing, Salvage, and Rescue Ship (T-ATS 11).
The United States Coast Guard (USCG) selected Austal USA for Stage 2 of the Offshore Patrol Cutter (OPC) detail design and production.

On May 23rd, Austal USA successfully launched the 17th Independence-variant Littoral Combat Ship (LCS), the future USS Augusta (LCS 34).
Austal USA announced today that it was awarded a $230.5 million contract for the detail design and construction of EPF 16, the Navy’s newest Expeditionary Fast Transport (EPF) ship.
Austal USA hosted a curtain drop ceremony today to celebrate the opening of the company’s state-of-the-art steel facility. The addition of steel shipbuilding capability compliments the company’s well-established aluminium shipbuilding expertise.

Austal USA laid the keel of the future USNS Cody (EPF 14) with a ceremony held in the facilities in Mobile, Alabama on 27 January.
