French shipbuilder Chantiers de l’Atlantique held a launching ceremony for 'Jacques Stosskopf' the second BRF Supply Ship for the French Navy

Naval Group handed over the “Jacques Chevallier” to the French Navy (Marine Nationale) during a ceremony held 18 July 2023. The vessel is the first of four new logistic support ships (LSS) known as "BRF".

French shipbuilder Naval Group announced that the “Jacques Chevallier” started its sea trials campaign on 25 January.
