Taiwan’s Coast Guard Administration (CGA) held a ship launching and christening ceremony today, at the Taiwan Shipbuilding Corporation (CSBC). The 4,000-ton patrol ship "Chiayi" (CG-5001) is the largest vessel ever launched for Taiwan's CGA.

Taiwanese shipyard Jong Shyn Shipbuilding launched a new 600 tons patrol vessel for the Coast Guard on 27 April 2020. Based on the ROC Navy catamaran corvette, the new patrol vessel can be fitted with up to 16x anti-ship missiles.

Bollinger Shipyards LLC (“Bollinger”) on April 2 delivered the USCGC HAROLD MILLER to the U.S. Coast Guard in Key West, Florida. This is the 161st vessel Bollinger has delivered to the U.S. Coast Guard over a 35 year period and the 38th Fast Response Cutter delivered on the current program. The USCGC HAROLD MILLER is the third of three FRCs to be home-ported in Galveston, Texas.
