On April 21, the first of five K130 Batch II corvettes built for the German Navy, Köln, was christened at the Blohm+Voss shipyard in Hamburg.
A steel cutting ceremony took place on July 28 at German Naval Yards Kiel for the third K130 Batch 2 Corvette for the Germany Navy. The ceremony was low key because of the current health crisis.
On January 30, the Lürssen Peene shipyard laid the keel of the German Navy’s seventh K130 Braunschweig-class corvette, the future Emden (F266) vessel.
