Indonesian shipbuilder PT Lundin (also known as North Sea Boats) today launched a new Fast Attack Craft Trimaran for the Indonesian Navy (TNI AL). KRI Golok (688) was named during an official ceremony at the shipyard in Banyuwangi (East Java) in presence of the Chief of Staff of the Navy, Admiral Yudo Margono.
Indonesia’s X18 Combat Boat program is moving towards first delivery, John Cockerill Defence (JCD), which is supplying the armament, told Naval News. A protoype has been put in the waters on April 28 in Banyuwangi Waters.

The Indonesian Ministry of Defence recently ordered a first prototype of the so called X18 ยซ Tank Boat ยป, which is being designed since 2011 by a consortium composed of PT Pindad, North Sea Boats (PT Lundin) and the Belgian turret maker John Cockerill (formerly known as CMI Group).
