European missile manufacturer MBDA showcased the Sea Venom anti-sip missile last month during ADEX 2021 in Seoul. The Republic of Korea (ROK) Navy could still select the missile to equip its fleet of Wildcat helicopters.
The Sea Venom/ANL anti-ship missile has completed its qualification firings trials, with a successful final firing at the French Armament General Directorate (DGA) test site at Ile du Levant on 17 November.
The French ministry of armed forces announced that MBDA’s ANL / Sea Venom light anti-ship missile successfully passed its first qualification test firing on February 20th. The test was conducted by DGA teams.
