French Shipyard SOCARENAM started construction of the French Navy (Marine Nationale)’s first of six new offshore patrol vessels known as “POM” (Patrouilleur d’Outre-Mer). French shipyard Socarenam selected NEXEYA to supply the combat management system (CMS) for the future POM patrol vessels of the French Navy (Marine Nationale).
The French Ministry of Armed Forces on January 17 confirmed an order for six new offshore patrol vessels (Patrouilleur d’Outre-Mer – POM) for the French Navy (Marine Nationale). The contract was awarded on December 24 to a Socarenam / CNN MCO consortium by the French Defense Procurement Agency (DGA).
As the Belgian-Dutch MCM tender is heating up, the Sea Naval Solutions (SNS) consortium (Thales-Engine Deck Repair-Chantier de l’Atlantique-Socarenam) invited Naval News in Antwerp to detail its proposal and to outline the capabilities of EDR shipyard.
