U.S. Navy Program Executive Office, Unmanned and Small Combatants (PEO USC) announced the Unmanned Influence Sweep System (UISS), a critical component of the Navy’s suite of mine countermeasure technologies, has achieved Initial Operating Capability (IOC).

The Littoral Combat Ship (LCS) Mission Module Program successfully completed shipboard integration testing of two unmanned systems on board USS Independence (LCS 2) Jan. 14, the US Navy PEO USC Public Affairs said yesterday.
