The Indian Ministry of Defense announced the maiden landing of an LCA Navy and MIG-29K fighters aboard the Indian Navy's new aircraft carrier INS Vikrant.
The developmental LCA (N) MK1 achieved an important milestone on 11 Jan 20 with the successful Arrested Landing on board the naval aircraft carrier INS Vikramaditya.
On 29 September, 2019, LCA Naval Prototype-2 launched off the ski jump at 1621 hours and then subsequently “trapped” at 1631 hrs on the arresting gear site
CNIM will deliver fourteen new landing craft (LCU type, designated EDA-S for "engins de débarquement amphibie standards" in French) to replace the the ageing "CTM" (previous generation of LCUs) in the French Navy (Marine Nationale).
