The Dutch Defence Material Organisation (DMO) announced that it has selected Italian company Leonardo to supply new 127mm naval gun systems for the Royal Netherlands Navy’s four De Zeven Provinciรซn-class LCF frigates.
Two Beechcraft King Air 350ERs, which Leonardo delivered with built-in surveillance sensors and ATOS mission system, have flown their first missions with an African Navy. Leonardo was prime contractor for the surveillance capability, drawing on its broad expertise to offer the platform, sensors and mission system as a fully integrated package.
The U.S. Navy announced on Jan. 13, 2020 that AgustaWestland Philadelphia Corporation (Leonardo) was awarded a contract for $176.5M for the production of 32 TH-73A helicopters in support of the Advanced Helicopter Training System (AHTS) program.
Leonardoโs ULISSES system was used to automatically locate a number of simulated submarines in a live trials exercise. Ultra Electronics provides the software capability for the ULISSES system to provide accurate target location from up to 64 sonobuoys and/or dipping sonars. The Italian Navy FREMM frigate Carlo Bergamini equipped with Leonardoโs MFRA was able to detect and track the launch and impact point of a ballistic missile. The MFRA radar demonstrated its ability to detect the full range of threats presented during the exercise.

On April 8, 2019, the Polish Ministry of National Defense signed an offset package worth 395.882751 million zlotys (about $ 104 million) with Italian company Leonardo. This agreement precedes a procurement contract for four Leonardo Helicopters AW101 Merlin for the Polish Navy.
