The State Border Guard Service of Ukraine (SBGSU) inked a contract with French company OCEA for the procurement of 20 patrol boats on July 22.

The first of six Tapper-class (Bevakningsbåt 80) patrol boats, HMS Dristig, has been re-delivered to the Swedish Navy (Svenska marinen) following a comprehensive overhaul and upgrade program. This is part of a project aimed at enhancing Sweden's underwater surveillance and protection capabilities.

The United States' State Department approved a possible Foreign Military Sale (FMS) to the Government of Ukraine of up to 16 Mark VI Patrol Boats and related equipment for an estimated cost of $600 million.

Australia's Department of Defense ordered six new Cape Class Patrol Boats for the Royal Australian Navy (RAN). The vessels will be built by local shipbuilder Austal. The Australian Border Force currently operates eight Cape-class Patrol Boats, while the RAN operates two leased Cape-class.

Estonia's Ministry of Defense announced the procurement of two 18 meters patrol boats for the Estonian Navy. The contract was awarded to local company Baltic Workboats.

Austal Limited (Austal) is pleased to announce the on-time delivery of the sixth Guardian-class Patrol Boat (GCPB) to the Australian Department of Defence. The vessel, the RFNS Savenaca, was today gifted by the Government of Australia to the Government of Fiji during a handover ceremony at Austal Australia’s Henderson shipyard.
