The RAAF announced Initial Operational Capability for two new air-launched, long-ranged anti-ship and land attack-missiles.
A significant capability milestone has been achieved for the Royal Australian Air Force’s (RAAF) P-8A Poseidon platform. Operated by units under the command of No. 92 Wing, the P-8A Poseidon fleet underwent extensive modifications over a period of 12 months to support future upgrades to the capability.
Northrop Grumman has been awarded a $65 million advance acquisition contract for long-lead components for the manufacture and delivery of three LRIP Lot 5 MQ-4C Triton unmanned aircraft for the US Navy and the Australian Defense Force (ADF).
Boeing is awarded a US$326 million to develop, integrate and test Increment 3 capabilities into the P-8A aircraft for the US Navy and the Royal Australian Air Force (RAAF).
