The State Border Guard Service of Ukraine (SBGSU) inked a contract with French company OCEA for the procurement of 20 patrol boats on July 22.
The United States’ State Department approved a possible Foreign Military Sale (FMS) to the Government of Ukraine of up to 16 Mark VI Patrol Boats and related equipment for an estimated cost of $600 million.
The Ukrainian Ministry of Interior has selected local company Nibulon Shipbuilding to partner with French company OCEA to build locally 5 patrol ships under a transfer of technology agreement.
Ukraine’s LUCH design bureau and the Ukrainian Armed Forces continue the development test of the RK-360MTS mobile coastal defense system and its R-360 anti-ship missile. The most recent test took place in late November and evaluated the long range flight capabilities of the missile.
