On March 24, 2022, Greece and Naval Group signed the contracts for three FDI HN frigates, plus one optional, and their in-service support.

The Hellenic Parliament released the details of Greece's contract with Naval Group for the Hellenic Navy's future FDI (Frégate de défense et d'intervention) frigates on February 9.
