Teledyne Marine – Vehicles announced on June 24 that the Ministry of Defence of Poland has procured, through Remontowa Shipbuilding two additional Gavia Autonomous Underwater Vehicles (AUV) for its second and third Kormoran Class new MCMV.

Saab has received an order for deliveries of Double Eagle SAROV systems to be used for mine countermeasure (MCM) operations.

OSI Maritime Systems (OSI) is pleased to announce that it has entered in to a strategic partnership wit h PGZ Stocznia Wojenna Shipyard (PGZ SW), l ocated in Gdynia, Poland to provide Integrated Navigation and Tactical Systems (INTS) to the Polish Navy. Its first contract is for the Kormoran program, vessels two and three (ORPs ‘Albatros’ and ‘Mewa’).

Poland is currently involved in talks pertaining to procurement of second-hand submarines from Sweden. The acquisition is aimed at obtaining a gap filler, until the Orka new generation submarine procurement programme is finalized. We have found out, unofficially, that the talks concern two A17/Södermanland Swedish submarines.
