The French defense procurement agency (DGA) awarded Zodiac Milpro International a procurement contract for 11 RHIBs. Known as “EDO”, these new Zodiac Hurricane ZH-638 IO will be deployed aboard surface vessels of the French Navy (Marine Nationale).
The Spanish Navy (Armada Española) has safely received four Rigid Hull Inflatable Boats (RHIBs) intended for search and rescue operations and personnel transfers at sea from Zodiac Milpro.
The German Navy’s new Gecko rescue boats are ready for delivery, the Bundewher project team reported last month. Training on the Zodiac Milpro’s Sea Rib Aluminum-based boats has already started.
