Today in Concarneau, Piriou Group has delivered the third and last of the OPV 58 S offshore patrol vessel (OPV) for the Senegalese Armed Forces.
French shipbuilder PIRIOU delivered the second unit of the OPV 58 S class vessel program for the Senegalese Navy.
The French Piriou shipyard launched the second of three offshore patrol vessels for the Senegalese Navy, named “NIANI”, in Concarneau on September 13, 2022.
French shipyard PIRIOU announced it has launched the first of three Offshore Patrol Vessels (OPV) on order for the Navy of Senegal. The first-in-class ship “Walo” was launched on 11 April 2022 in Concarneau, Brittany.
A CN-235 Maritime Patrol Aircraft (MPA) ordered by the Senegalese Defense Ministry landed on April 6 at Dakar’s airport. The aircraft was modified by PT Dirgantara Indonesia (PTDI).
