Raytheon recently received a $97M contract for the U.S. Navy’s Air and Missile Defense Radar AN/SPY-6(V) integration and production support.

Raytheon and the U.S. Navy completed the first system-level tests of SPY-6(V)2, the Enterprise Air Surveillance Radar (or EASR), at the Surface Combat System Center at Wallops Island, VA.

Raytheon has been awarded a $402 million contract for AN/SPY-6(V) radars low-rate initial production (LRIP) for the US Navy’s DDG 51 Flight III-class ship program, the US company said on March 14.

Raytheon Company’s AN/SPY-6(V)1 air and missile defense radar completed its latest test, exceeding all performance requirements. In the most stressing test to date, the radar searched for, detected, and maintained track on the target as predicted.
