The U.S. Navy commissioned its newest Independence-class littoral combat ship (LCS), USS Cincinnati (LCS 20), during a ceremony held Saturday, Oct. 5, on the west pier in Gulfport, Mississippi.
Independence-class Littoral Combat Ship USS Gabrielle Giffords (LCS 10) is the first U.S. Navy vessel to fully integrate the Naval Strike Missile next generation anti-ship and land attack cruise missile.
Austal has been advised by the Royal Australian Navy (RAN) that the RAN has signed a two year lease extension with the National Australia Bank (NAB) for its two Cape Class Patrol Boats (CCPB), Cape Fourcroy and Cape Inscription.
